Hello! I am a recent Rhode Island College graduate. I studied the field of Youth Development. For the past 4 years I have been employed with a company where I work at a school and residential programs with youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Some of the youth I work with also have behavioral difficulties. I assist the clients with their academic work, life skills and at their jobs. I teach my clients daily life skills such as washing dishes, sweeping, making their bed, cooking and more. I also assist clients with their hygiene skills such as showering, brushing their hair and teeth, etc. Before that I worked as a teacher assistant in a daycare. I am CPR, First Aid and CPI certified!

Experienced Elementary Teacher Available
Hello! My name is Laura and I am an experienced elementary school teacher. I have taught for the last 11 years in both charter and public schools and have taught grades PreK4, Kinder and First, as well as coached teachers. I am certified to teach PreK-6th grade and have a masters degree in elementary education. I am currently taking a year off from teaching full time to stay home with my 2 and half year old son, but would still love to spend some time working with elementary aged students! I love teaching all subjects and am especially passionate about teaching reading and early literacy skills.

Hello, my name is Noelle. I am currently working as a Special Education teacher to children ages 3-6 with Severe Disabilities. I have three years of experience in this field. Additionally I am certified in Elementary Education with two years of experience in grades 2, 3 and 5. Before this I taught swim lessons to children ages birth through 15 at the YMCA along with lifeguarding for six years. This provided me with extensive CPR, First Aide and Heimlich training specific to infants and young children. I am looking for weekend and after school care opportunities. This includes anything from childcare or tutoring to light housekeeping and Cooking/Meal Preparations.

Experienced caregivers are needed across the greater Providence area to provide backup care in our clients' homes. This is an on call position, perfect for someone who enjoys the variety of working with different people and prefers or needs a flexible schedule. Please note assignments are typically full day (8:00-6:00pm). We also provide adult companion, non-medical care. This is a great opportunity for college students, recent graduates transitioning into the workforce, and mothers returning to work. $18/hour. We are an approved agency provider with Care. com. We support corporate back-up care programs across Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island and work with national companies. Corporate backup care is a wonderful employee benefit where corporations create work/life balance by providing in-home child care so their employees can get to work (when their regular care is unavailable). New Wave Home Care began in Fairfield County, Connecticut in 2007 and now provides care to children and the elderly (companion care) throughout Connecticut, Westchester County, Long Island, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. We value workers of all ages. Equal Opportunity Employer.
