Hello! My name is Emma, I'm 25, and I am currently a second year graduate student at URI. I am kind, motivated, and fun and I have lots of experience working with kids of all ages. I have been a sailing instructor for 8 years, working with kids ranging from 8-18, teaching them the sport as well as keeping them safe all while having fun. During the covid winter of 2020/21 I was a live in nanny/remote learning aide for a family with two boys in 3rd and 5th grade so I am very comfortable doing meal prep and watching children! I spent a summer working as a boat captain for a summer camp in the Caribbean and lived with the high school campers for 3 weeks at a time on the boats as well. Not only that but I have been babysitting on and off since I was 14. I am comfortable doing light housework, meal prep, and grocery shopping. I have American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certifications, as well as a Red Cross Lifeguarding certification. I also have a Safesport certification.

SAT/ACT Expert
15 years of specialized SAT/ACT expertise. Taught 200 students including those with learning issues to those aiming for perfection. In my family, I have two children and one grandchild with learning difficulties. I have spent many years studying why ALL students, with or without learning issues, are challenged by the SAT/ACT and developed techniques to help them do the best they can. I love working with kids of this age. They challenge me and I challenge them. I respect their anxiety, their effort, and I express my excitement when they succeed.

Hi, I would like to hire a nanny to watch my 3-year-old. The position is for 2-3 months. We are moving into a new home and I need a lot of help during this process. If you can help me with errands, laundry or food prep, that is would be a bonus but it's not required. The only requirement is that you are able to keep a 3-year-old engaged (so I can get work done) and be able to drive :)
