I'm Jamie. I'm a fun, positive, patient person. I have 10+years of experience caring for children. I can help with Light Housekeeping and Laundry. I have been a Nanny in the past as well as working in a preschool setting. I am very crafty and artsy and I love teaching babies and toddlers new things and watching them grow and learn and pick up on things and watching them have a little "Aha!" Moment when they learn something new. I don't have any kids of my own yet but have helped raise my two nieces who are my entire world! I love caring for children it truly is my dream job and I love every second of it.

I am a hardworking college student enrolled in an average of 19 credits per semester, maintaining an average GPA ranging from 3. 4-3. 6 at the University of Buffalo. I am currently enrolled as a dual major with Health and Human Services and Art, but it is my intention to apply for the university's five year MSW program so I can graduate in 2024 with my BA of art and my masters of social work. After graduation I want to work in the foster care system as a social worker. Eventually I want to return to school for my masters in fine arts in order to open my own art therapy practice. During my highschool and college academic years I have managed to gain approximately 6 years work experience. At the local community pool, GIAC, where I worked as a lifeguard for many years, I spent my breaks and free time teaching swim lessons to children ranging from age 3-10. I am CPR/first aid trained. id love to send over my resume!
