I am a student at the University of Michigan studying history in the School of Education. I have such a strong desire to care for and teach children, and I cannot wait until I become a teacher so I can pursue my passion for education and child care. I have been a volunteer in three elementary schools in Ann Arbor, and have started my student teaching at a middle school in Ann Arbor as well as a high school in Detroit, and a high school in Novi. I am a docent at the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History, and I give many tours to elementary age school groups who come to the museum for a field trip. At home, the hotel I worked at has a babysitting service for guests, and I often cared for children through that. I also had a family I babysat for over the summer who had a 2-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. Children are my passion, and I strive to be a great caregiver by having fun with kids while also teaching and learning new things together.

Experienced Career Nanny
A mature not-yet-granny-nanny, I started babysitting at age 12, and have held many full-time and part-time nanny positions since then. I also raised two of my own daughters. I have Red Cross certification in child and infant CPR. I was the owner of my own nanny agency back before the internet, taught classes in babysitting, and have had two other careers (online database, and international youth exchange) before deciding to go back to my first and best-loved work; nannying. I also have a BA in Archaeology, which helps when looking for lost toys in a messy playroom! ;-)

Experienced Animal Caretaker Who Loves All Types Of Animals Available For Evening Or Weekend Pet Car
I have owned dogs and cats for a number of years and have loved them all. Independently I have cared for dogs of varying sizes including hounds, pekinese, labs, pit bulls, Pyrenese, and German Shepherds and for cats of unknown breeding. As a pet sitter I have experience in caring for animals with specialized diets or medications and in mixed animal households. As a career I have worked in animal education camps caring for rescued dogs, cats, and exotics. Most recently I worked at a large cat sanctuary caring for tigers as well as rescued lemurs and pigs before moving here to Michigan to complete graduate school. Prior to that I also owned and cared for goats and pigs. On a personal note I have fostered dogs and cats, helping with training and care till they found new homes. I enjoy working with animals of all kinds and learning their different personalities and needs and I am excited at the opportunity to continue
