Looking for someone to help us out the month of July (starting week of July 9) about 5-6 hours a day, 2-4 days a week. Our son is 24 years old and on the spectrum. He is non-verbal, and communicates with the limited words he knows. He is very mild-mannered, shy and low key. Looking for someone to take him to pool, workout with him at our gym in the building, make sure he's making and eating healthy lunches, and maybe take him on short excursions so he is not sitting around all day without anything to do. Someone with experience of working with special needs is a plus. Also, would appreciate references. Look forward to hearing from you.

Transportation Required
Bethesda family needs a part-time babysitter/driver. Must love kids! Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. Duties include pickups and drop-offs. Our 10- and 14-year-olds need to be picked up from day camp and driven to the local pool and/or home each day. Sitter should be able to swim and comfortable at pool, although not primarily responsible for swimming with the kids, who have swim team practice. 14-year-old needs transportation but not much supervision, while 10-year-old needs babysitter. Hours will vary slightly over the summer as the kids attend different day camps but generally 3 - 6:30 or 3:30 - 7:00. Driving will at times include driving one 14-year-old neighbor as part of carpool. Safe driving record and excellent references are a must. Own car is helpful but not required.
