I'm looking for companion care for my mother in her 70s. Transportation: May need some transportation assistance to appointments in the future, but for now say she is able to drive comfortably. Companionship: Play games like yahtzee with her or scrabble, etc. Light Housekeeping: Help with light housekeeping and occasionally heavier jobs (occasional cleaning refrigerator, etc.). She needs help taking out the trash. Schedule Details: Flexible depending on medical appointments. For now she is driving. Not sure how much longer though. May need future help with transportation but doesn't need it yet. Mom us a nurse and is mentally sharp but has poor fine motor and gross motor skills due to neuropathy. She has heart disease and is on numerous medications but for the moment appears to be able to manage her meds well. My dad recently left her so she's on her own. She can't do much housekeeping due to her mobility and balance problems and can't take out the trashcans, etc. She is lonely and would benefit from a companion a couple of hours a day a few days a week at least for now. May need more in the future. She loves to play yahtzee :).
