Fun Bubbly Babysitter
I'd describe my personality as bubbly, spontaneous, and creative! I like working with kids because they push me to be better and are a reminder of how much they can be influenced from their surrounding environment. Their innocence is something that should be cherished and allows me to look at the "brighter side" I'm looking for a job that can work around my school schedule and personal needs. I began working with kids when I was about 13 as a cadette Girl Scout and later on became a camp counselor, dance camp instructor and currently doing observation hour at a pediatrics office for physical therapy In my spare time, I like to roller skate, go to yoga, walk on the beach or travel. One thing you should know about me is I love to cook and do crafts with the kids. I also enjoy playing outdoors if there is a safe environment available. My skills include keeping the kids busy with crafts/games, making food for the kids, and incorporating the parents needs/preferences.

Job # 81160: Fun, Relaxed Family In Boca Raton Needs A Flexible Nanny (Lyons & Clint Moore) Message from Mom: We are a relaxed, easy, and fun/calm family with a comfortable living environment. We have an active 15-month-old boy, and a baby girl due in February. Both parents work from home- mom works part-time and will be involved with the kids. Dad works full time. We are looking for someone to act as the "third parent" and just join our family as an extra set of hands. If mom is with the baby, nanny can be cleaning the toys. If mom is doing errands/cleaning, the nanny is with the baby, etc. Whatever needs to be done gets done. Mom is taking the baby to mommy and me classes, so there will be time during the day where we will need to be creative for other jobs for the nanny to take on while the mom/baby are out. This could include cooking or grocery shopping, or a shifting of hours to maybe evening babysitting for a date night. We can be creative! About the Child: Our son was born July 2020. He's super curious, and he loves books, cars, going to the park, and to play chase. He's active and determined. He tells you exactly what he wants and is very verbal. He's sweet and affectionate, and does things on purpose to make you laugh. He has tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants, but he's easily able to be distracted from them (i.e., go find the ball!). Our new baby is due Feb 2022. Their Ideal Nanny: Calm but fun! We want someone who isn't bothered by toddler tantrums and can stay warm and nurturing when our son is experiencing hard moments. We want someone who can be silly, encouraging our son's playfulness, while helping him understand his world through narrating his experience and talking to him! We want someone who will allow him the freedom to play how he wants, while making sure he's staying safe. We are looking for someone who doesn't tire easily- toddlers can be exhausting!- and are interested in staying with our family for a few years. Additional Job Details: We are hoping for someone to be with our family for a few years. We are looking for someone to be flexible and creative with to organize hours and tasks. Mom takes the baby to classes, so we are looking for a nanny who is comfortable with alternative tasks during the hours mom and baby are away- that can include cooking, grocery shopping, etc. Or we can start someone on fewer hours and increase with time (whatever works best for the nanny!) We currently have 1 child but will have a second one in a few months. We will have extra help during the newborn stage, but then we are looking for someone who is comfortable with 2 kids under 2 after that help leaves! And the "extra time" for creative ideas will likely change when the second baby joins us, so it's short-term. We also will require our nanny to be fully vaccinated from Covid, get the flu shot (we will have a newborn to protect), as well as the TDAP (whooping cough/tetanus) shot. Looking forward to meeting anyone interested! Start Date: Nov 1, 2021 Expected Job Duration: Long term Is the nanny required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine? Yes Duties: Light housekeeping Child's laundry Cooking for children Cooking for family Schedule: MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH SCHEDULE! Sample schedule: Mondays: 10:30- 5:30 (7) Tuesdays: 11:00- 6:00 (7) Wednesdays: 7:00-3:00 (8) Thursdays: 7:00-3:00 (8) Friday: 1:00- 7:00 (6) 36-40 hours a week Compensation: $20 to $26 per hour DOE Benefits: Paid vacation, paid holidays, and sick pay.
