About the job

Weatherford family needs a part-time tutor for SPED/IEP-English & Math. 9yo in 3rd grade. We are retaining her. So will be repeating 3rd next year. She has an IEP in place hence the SPED experience need. She has dyslexia & adhd. Not hyperactive but greatly struggles with most of the symptoms of inattentive adhd seen in girls. She struggles with confidence due to these things, feels overwhelmed & embarrassed in front of peers. Which affects her academically. She is VERY behind in math, maybe a 1st year level. She reads pretty well, for the most part, but has no comprehension of what she's read. We need someone experienced with IEP's & able to keep her engaged, is kind, patient & demonstrates positive reinforcement. When sending a message; can you please describe your expertise in the subjects/processes my child finds difficult. Thank you!
