Looking for a break from large and expanding caseloads and classrooms? Want to make a meaningful difference in a child's life instead of navigating bureaucracy? We are seeking an educator experienced with ASD to help our 11-year-old daughter thrive. She will be in the public school system for 1/2 day but struggles to adapt to the sensory overload and social anxiety that hundreds of peers in a loud building bring. We'd love to hire someone who could help her process her schoolwork in a quiet comfortable home environment in addition to helping her to learn other life and coping skills. She is verbal but developmentally at a Pk-K level. She's generally happy, excitable, imaginative and sweet but can push or run when she's overwhelmed. We'd prefer a BCBA, Special Ed Teacher or experienced RBT but are open to others with relevant experience.
