The tutoring is for my son who will be in the 8 grade in the fall. He is a Samoans talented teen in honors classes. He needs to improve is grammar, spelling and reading. He also needs to improve testing and presentation skills. I think he would pay attention to a senior in high school or someone in college. The tutor would need to be exceptionally good at English, grammar, writing and presentation. If a in college an English journalism major is preferred. I would like my son to read a book a week and have the tutor ask him to write about it, discuss it and read out loud, answer questions and discuss the point of the story etc.
