About the job

Homeschool family, where dad is home with the kids and mom is at work most days, is looking for someone to be with our 7th grader to guide them through their school work for the 2025 fall semester. They are currently needing more constant attention than dad can provide with his responsibilities. This would include math (worksheets, flashcards, online lesson), language (grammar, spelling, handwriting), social studies (online video lesson, chapter work, worksheets), science (if time permits; reading, activities). This child has dyslexia and other learning challenges that we are working with and we use curriculum tailored to meet these needs. There is a high schooler in the home but our need is focused on the 7th grader (unless there is a great love & understanding of high school science!) Schedule: 4-5 days per week from 9am-12 p.m.
