About the job
I am looking for a creative patient tutor to assist my 7th grader going into 8th with math and English. He is testing below grade level and is beginning to struggle. More with reading comprehension which by default affects other classes. Math it depends on the unit he is studying, he could use supports to build confidence. He does better with hands on learning one on one attention, to talk things through, He gets inpatient if he does not grasp the concepts immediately. Many things come easy for him so when school does not he gives up on himself. Looking for 2 days a week. Ideally something through a good portion of the summer and then into the school year. He is not a behavioral problem, he is very respectful but also very proud so he is begrudgingly doing this lol.
