About the job
Hi! We're looking for a summer math tutor for our 9-year-old son. He's finishing third grade, and is behind on some some of the things they need to know going into fourth grade. For example, being able to add and subtract 3-digit numbers. He currently does all his math in his head, which so far he can mostly do, but he needs to learn how to write it out. We'd like to find someone who can work with him in person 2 days a week for 30-60 minutes. He has two homes- with me, his mom in Pasadena, and with his dad in Silverlake. So either or both of those locations would work. We could also meet you somewhere else for sessions, but we want to do them in person. Thanks so much!
