I'm looking for hands-on care for my father in his 80s. He had surgery and they removed his artificial knee due to an infection. He is not able to put any weight on his right leg. He is in need of assistance when transferring from bed to wheel chair, wheel chair to toilet, wheel chair to shower bench, wheel chair to other chairs. He uses a walker to help him pivot from one place to another using only his left leg. My mother does not have the upper body strength to support him if he were to start falling. He is currently in a care center, but coming home soon. in the care center a CNA "spots" him with each transfer to endure he doesn't fall. Looking for similar assistance in the home.
