About the job

We need a personal assistant to support my mother in Edmonds who is experiencing the beginning stages of dementia. Experience working with patients with dementia or Alzheimer's is preferred. We were looking for someone who can handle light housekeeping and errands involved with upkeep of her house. At this point in her stage, she is quite capable, but loses things frequently and gets flustered easily, she needs support with things like scheduling oil changes and other similar tasks, organizing and goodwill runs, and possibly grocery shopping. We are also interested in someone that lives close to the Edmonds area that would be able to get to her within 15 minutes. The days and times are flexible. We are also interested in someone that could offer her support by phone if needed and can pay for on call time.
