We are looking for live-in home care for my mother in her 70s. My parents have a lovely home with a separate living space for her care giver. Mom suffered a stroke in 2016 and is now hemipelagic and does not walk, she is a full lift but is easy to care for otherwise. She sleeps long nights wakes up around 9-10 a.m. and is ready for bed as early as 7-8 p.m. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping and preparing meals. My father lives in the same home but is very active and not home during the day. He does the shopping and cooks a lot. Our Caregiver must be comfortable with taking charge of her care independently and be willing to commit to a year of live in care. This position can have a lot of independent time evenings and mornings.
