About the job

About who needs care: Patient weight roughly 280lbs She is currently bed bound while recovering from a kidney stone hospitalization. Before the hospitalization, Patient was limited to a wheelchair and can not walk. Patient use to be able to get around apartment and go to the bathroom on her own, but currently she requires to be changed since she is bed bound. Patients daughter and granddaughter care forrher but currently need some help due a pregnancy with the granddaughter and recent surgery recovery from the daughter. Patient has a hoyer lift and gets PT and OT to strengthen mobility About the care needs: Caregiver needs to be strong physically and mentally. I need someone who can fulfill the duty as needed without complaining about back or knees. Also the patient has a lot of pain so needs to be comfortable being around someone who isn't always cheerful without taking it personally. Patient is 2 weeks away from having a kidney stone removal surgery. She is bed bound and needs to be changed in the bed. Patient can roll to assist Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
