About the job

About who needs care: My mom is Deaf, so we would really like to find someone who can sign. She enjoys crafts watching TV, card games, and chatting. She has diabetes and was experiencing some issues with that, but we seem to have gotten that under control. Primarily, what we need is someone who can keep her place tidy, do her laundry, drive her places if need be, maybe cook some meals for her or help her prep stuff, and keep her company. About the care needs: Someone who is engaging and pleasant. A warm personality is a huge plus. My mom would feel much more comfortable with a female companion. They should be able to sign (ASL), and it would be ideal if they enjoyed watching shows, playing cards, and chatting. They also need to be able/willing to drive. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
