About the job

About who needs care: Catherine is a sweetie with Alzheimers. She can walk, feed herself and use the restroom alone but needs help remembering to wash her hands. She thinks shes around 10 years old most days and enjoys going to the park, feeding ducks, and taking a drive! About the care needs: We are looking for someone that feels like a trusted friend or extended relative in terms of the energy they can provide to Catherine, so she feels safe and comfortable. We have three older children and are seeking some time where we can focus solely on them and are looking for a companion to health care for her during those windows of time. The caregiver will be welcome to watch her in our home or take her out on adventures, which we can also help pay for. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
