I am looking for overnight & weekend companion care for my 89yo mother. Mom had been semi-independent until this past Monday. She lives with me in Round Rock. On Monday she fell at home and broke her hip. Currently in the hospital. Next she'll go to a nursing facility for rehab. Since last year, she gets anxious when she's alone. - She'll need a caregiver for overnights and weekends. Mainly you'll just keep her company and call a nurse/staff member if she needs something. - It's possible we would continue the care at home later. - It's ok if you want to occupy yourself or sleep lightly while on duty. - [I currently have other weekday-daytime caregivers for her when I go to work (teacher).
