About the job

About who needs care: My wife and I are planning a get away. We have a special needs son who needs someone to stay with him. He is functional with regard to taking care of personal needs (bathing, eating, etc.), and is personable. He takes seizure meds and his seizures are under control, but we'd like to have someone there "just in case". His Mom and I are his legal guardians, and just don't believe it's a good idea to leave him by himself. Also have 4 dogs that need feeding. In addition, my wife's elderly mom lives on our property. She has a helper/caregiver that comes three times a week, but needs someone close by in case of a medical emergency. About the care needs: Friendly, level-headed, and good with dogs. This is more than likely an easy gig, but need to be prepared for any kind of emergency. Son works in Conroe, so will need rides to and from work for 2-3 days during the period. No special skills needed, just someone who is friendly and can be at house with our son, and check-in on my mother in law a couple times a day. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
