About the job

About who needs care: My mom had hip replacement surgery this week (yesterday) and I will be at her house most of the time while she recovers. She is healthy, otherwise, no issues other than a bit of high blood pressure and she is small, weighs about 127lb and about 5 ft so it's easy to help move her around. However, she is super picky about order of things, turning on AC and temp, lights, tv channels, the order of her pillows. She is also very picky about her meals but it's all prepped in the fridge and I will take care of that as I will be at her house but working. About the care needs: My mom is super chatty and likes to chat with people all the time about all the things, particularly my deceased father who was an artist, as well as all the things. She is very friendly but gets riled up watching the news so will openly chat about politics. I need a caregiver who won't be bothered if she calls Trump stupid at the tv while she watches the news and will help her with small trivial things she likes to have order with, like the placement of things on the little table next to her within reach. She is very friendly with strangers and I don't anticipate issues and I will be here as well but I need to work and well, I am her daughter she will boss me around, but she will not do that with a care giver :) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
