About the job

About who needs care: Had a stroke (CVA) on 4/22. She is unable to walk or get up on her own. Wears adult diapers as she has no control of her body right now. Right side is the weakest side. She has PT, OT and speech therapy 3 times a week. We need someone to stay during the day from 8:00 to 5:00. I work in Mabank, but will work from home after 11:00 a.m. which is next door to their house. My dad is home but in and out of the house. He has a bad back and heart failure so he cant stay with her alone. She watches Hallmark movies and mystery channels. About the care needs: We are a very close family and can be smart alecs to each other. Momma is head strong and was a care giver herself when she had the stroke. I need someone that can lift and move her and do it safely. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
