About the job

About who needs care: My grandmother, Wanda, has Alzheimer's. She will need help with cooking, bathing, cleaning, and all daily tasks. She is mobile and can feed herself. She enjoys being outside and talking. She gets up for the day from 6am-9 a.m. and immediately wants breakfast. After breakfast we get dressed for the day then she either stays up or takes a nap. Around 12 we have lunch. After lunch we watch TV, go outside, take a short ride, or anything she feels up to doing. Around 5 p.m. we have dinner and she will stay up for a little while long then off to bed. About the care needs: Would prefer some one with Alzheimer's caregiving experience. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
