About the job

We need companion care to take care of my mother Janet in Chattanooga. She already has an established home aid for weekdays, but I need someone available for about four hours on Saturdays and Sundays as well as fill-in availability on Thursday, July 17 through Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Mom has late early/early moderate Alzheimer's but still lives on her own in her parents' house. She has a cat. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Some light tidying up is involved. Responsibilities include feeding. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets.
