About the job

We are looking for help for my husband who has ALS and is bedridden and ventilator dependent. He is kind, resilient, and funny. He vows to stay happy and thankful as he fights ALS. An ideal evening with him would include a bed bath, toileting, and Hoyer transfers to/from the chair. I am always present to help with his care. We currently need assistance in the evenings Mon-Fri and on Saturday afternoons from 16 June to 17 July 2025. Hours are pretty flexible. My husband loves meeting and talking to people (via head gestures and eye tracking device). He enjoys music, especially old country, and rock. We value reliability, honesty, attentiveness, and compassion in our caregivers. We have a sweet little dog who loves cuddling, especially with her dad.
