This Job is One 12 Hour Day Each Week About who needs care: My mother (88) has dementia and requires a walker to get around. She needs assistance bathing/dressing, using the bathroom, meals prepared for her, monitoring to prevent fall prevention (she forgets she needs a walker), to be given her pills, diaper changing. She needs to visit the local Senior Center for lunch a few hours when the weather is seasonable. IMPORTANT: She needs to visit the local park for walking exercise when the weather is warm and nice (she will resist). About the care needs: Very patient Play some speech therapy games with her Take to PT Cooking ability Very comfortable with cats and dogs (the occasional dog walking may be needed) Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
