About the job

About who needs care: He had a stroke on his left side and had his right leg amputated. His in a care home but wants out to come home. He cant walk or stand and he uses a bed pan and pee bottle. Hospice takes care of him and gets him ready for the day n the morning hour He does have to take pain medicine throughout the day. You would have to feed him and my mom supper. They get meals on wheels every week day. He has a very sharp mind and can talk. About the care needs: Someone we can trust and caring, someone who can apply a bed pan and clean him and dress him if needed. Someone who can feed him and my mother their meals on wheels dinners. Likes to do jig saw puzzles and cross word puzzles. He does have a power wheelchair and would have to be put in and out of bed. Hoping hospice will get him a hospital bed and a lift. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
