About the job

Looking for a part-time caregiver who is positive, caring and a compassionate companion. Ideally the caregiver will be self motivated with attention to detail while performing caregiving/household duties. My mother is 98 and lives by herself in Niles. She is forgetful but pleasant and enjoys having company and watching TV. Assistance needed includes medication prompting, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care assistance for bathing, changing clothes, and bathroom visits. My mother uses a walker to move around, however she is forgetful and needs to be watched/helped when she moves. We currently need coverage on Friday evenings from 6:30-9:30 p.m. We also need backup coverage intermittently for mornings from 8:30-11:30am, afternoons from 2-4pm, and evenings from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
