About the job

About who needs care: My father-in-law and mother-in-law both need care. One is 89 and one is 90 years old. They need help with activities of daily living, taking medication, general house help, and sometimes dressing and personal care. About the care needs: We would like somebody who has an upbeat personality and is also no-nonsense about important issues like taking medication, who can care for two different personalities , using patience and a little humor. Until very recently, they were extremely active people so the adjustment for them to being less mobile is challenging. It could be a busy household; my father-in-law has a business directly next door. Privacy is important to them, so somebody who understands confidentiality would be a good fit. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
