My mother-in-law has late stage, early onset Alzheimer's disease. She needs assistance with all aspects of daily living including dressing, showering, and toilet transfers. She is sort of independent with feeding, but has difficulty with spatial awareness and needs occasional verbal/physical cues to locate her food. She needs hand-held assistance with walking, but it is often easier to get around the house with her transport chair. She lives at home with her youngest son (23), two cats, and a dog, but her son is looking to move out soon. There is also a live-in aide currently who primarily does the overnight shifts. We are currently looking for someone to add to our team of aides, primarily for day time coverage but can offer night shifts as well. We want someone caring, compassionate and especially patient.
