About the job

About who needs care: Mom who is 90 lives in her own home assisted by home health care staff. She recently lost a caregiver due to family needs. Mom needs care with getting her up preparing her meals (has meals on wheels m-f), showering taking her to the bathroom & helping put her to bed. She does have some dementia but has always known family members. Mom loves to watch game shows & music shows on tv. She has a calico cat who sits on her lap. Mom sleeps a lot more these days as shes gotten older. About the care needs: Looking for a reliable caregiver who is kind to her patients & does a good job with patient care. Mom does need assistance with showers, ambulating (mom uses a 4 wheeled buggy) bathroom & getting her into bed. Mom must be turned every 2 hours or moved to prevent bedsores. There is only my mom to care for & her kitty who she loves dearly Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
