About who needs care: Lung cancer and end of life. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced freelance hospice nurse to provide in-home care to my terminally ill sister. The ideal candidate will be skilled in palliative / hospice care, symptom management, and personal care. Responsibilities +Provide skilled nursing care to a hospice patient in a home setting + Monitor symptoms, administer medications, and manage pain + Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Qualifications Current and active RN license in NY Minimum of 2 years of hospice or palliative care experience Experience providing personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene support) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and compassionately Proof of liability insurance preferred References required Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
