Male client is 76 yrs old , a stroke patient since 4. 5 yrs ago. His day generally begins at 7:30 a.m. with bedside bathing, dressing, transfers to commode to motorized wheelchair with light exercise regimen included. He can feed himself and occasionally shows a sense of humor. His speech can vary from spot on to difficult to understand. Wife has been full time caregiver with friends providing occasional caregiver relief. Due to the demands of providing care wife seeks a morning person to start the client's day . Schedule and hours could be flexible and might include as negotiated light housekeeping and companionship.
