About who needs care: Our Mom has dementia and beginning stages of Alzheimer's. She lives alone with help from three of her daughters. She is forgetful but can remember things, it literally depends on the day. She can be direct and we expect she might be resistant to help in the beginning. She has always been social and misses the connection and conversation with others. About the care needs: The right person would be patient and like to chat, and possibly take car rides around Carson, including the Dollar Store. Because of hearing and processing issues, the caregiver must be able to communicate in English clearly and effectively. Services needed include: Companionship and conversation, some meal preparation, some light errands.
