About the job

My husband and I are going out of town for a few days. (Early Saturday morning until Wednesday evening). We need someone to help look after his 74-year-old mom who was recently diagnosed with early onset dementia. Duties would include: making sure she takes her meds and are appropriate times. (We will leave them out and labeled) Microwaving or giving her lunch/dinner. Ensure she drinks at minimum four bottles of water a day. She is able to bathe herself but would need help properly drying off. This would likely only need to be done once as we will help her before we leave and when we return home. Someone to sit and talk with her. The hours could be sporadic through the day. One to two hour intervals three to four times a day. We're looking for someone who is loving and patient. We do also have a small dog and a cat.
