About the job

About who needs care: My grandfather and grandmother live independently in a 55+ older community. Both have health issues, but recently my grandfather has declined and requires additional support beyond what my grandmother can provide, and she needs to focus on her own self-care too. He needs assistance showering and getting dressed. About the care needs: Someone who is patient and kind; both are very docile and loving people. My grandmother can get anxious and overwhelmed at times, and my grandfather can get minimally agitated when out of his routine. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
