About who needs care: We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and energetic caregiver/companion for our 21-year-old son, Michael, who has cerebral palsy. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working one-on-one, making a difference in someones daily life, and creating meaningful connections. Responsibilities include: Assisting with meal preparation and feeding Providing support with transfers from wheelchair and toileting Transporting Adult Boy to activities and outings (must have a safe, reliable vehicle that can accommodate a fold-up wheelchair) Following a structured daily schedule Keeping Adult Boy engaged, happy, and socially stimulated throughout the day Ideal Candidate: Patient, warm, and dependable Physically capable of assisting with transfers Has a valid drivers license and clean driving record Experience with individuals with special needs preferred, but not required Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
