About the job

Full time (preferably) male to assist 18-year-old with mild cerebral palsy and a speech impediment who will be attending college in Madison, NJ, in late Aug. He will be living in the dorms in an ADA-accessible room w/private bath. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Meet client in his dorm room every morning approximately an hour before his first class. Assist him in showering and getting ready for classes -Assist in taking daily medications (no medical training required) -Escort him to and from classes and assist in setting up his materials (aide will have free time to work or enjoy the campus while client is in classes) -Escort client to dining hall and assist in carrying tray -Ability to occasionally lift 35-pound electric scooter, which can be folded up and placed in car -Have own car and clean driving record
