About the job

Our father suffered a stroke last year in the summer & is wheelchair bound. His first language is Spanish but speaks English. He is diabetic. He has PT, OT & Speech therapy weekly. Needs: Someone who is patient, understands that with this new disability comes some frustration from him. Services needed include: He needs assist with dressing, bathing, going to bathroom, transfers from bed to chair, chair to bed/toilet, meal preps, give insulin 3x, his medication, light housekeeping, take him for walks, and have conversations with him. We are looking for someone for Tuesday & Thursdays. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (this can vary and can be earlier than 5pm) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
