About who needs care: She has arthritis, no memory issues, she attends meetings and likes to socialize with friends. She loves to read books and newspapers. She has a routine, up around 9 and goes to bed around 7pm, she writes letters, reads, and does activities with friends in the afternoon or evening a few days per week. Family visits at least once or twice a week. About the care needs: Someone caring, smart and conversational that can be a bit flexible with their schedule around doctors appointments on occasion. Helping her with having friends over for tea so she stays active and engaged and social. Understands how to make a home safe for someone that uses a cane and/or walker. Can help prepare simple meals. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
