We are seeking a caregiver (or possibly more than one for backup coverage) to help my father with self-care tasks he cannot do on his own. He is a paraplegic who uses a motorized wheelchair. He needs assistance transferring and help with basic meal prep, bathing, dressing, and some household tasks. He does not need supervision in the middle of the day for now, but mornings and evenings we will need someone there to help him safely transfer in and out of bed. The exact hours/times needed are an estimate and can be flexible depending on your availability! We're looking for someone who is kind, patient, and able to help my dad maintain his independence as much as possible while still ensuring he is safe in his activities. I think he would do best with someone positive (but not overly-perky) and a good sense of humor is a big plus!
