Companion Care Needed For My Father In Whittier

About the job

My dad needs a companion. He lives alone in Whittier, NC. He gets around with a walker. He's fairly capable of doing most things (getting in/out of bed, changing, showering, feeding himself, etc.) Most needs revolve around keeping him busy & out of trouble. He doesn't like everything being done for him & I can't tell him I'm hiring someone to help him. He would not allow it. He basically would say he's ''fine''. Most times I'd say he's OK but he is far from 'fine'. Please be willing to do light housekeeping ( dishes, laundry). And also to handle meal prep for lunch & dinner & an occasional trip to a doctor appointment. The right person would be compassionate, patient, trustworthy & politely loud (he's very hard of hearing). Most days he's up around 9:00 am- 10:00 a.m. Bring the him the mail, chat, Act like a new neighbor down the way
