About the job

We are in need of a skilled caregiver who has experience with newly installed tracheostomys and feeding tubes and is willing to assist with showering in a walk in shower with hand held wand until patient adjusts to showering by herself with a trach. Hours can be flexible. There are family members that can be available, just not 24/7. An ideal day would include monitoring for suctioning needs from the trach. Assisting patient with suctioning. Assisting with showering until patient is more comfortable because of the trach. Working on breathing exercises and making sure daily feeds are happening and tracking amounts. Reading, having lunch with friends, volunteering for Meals on Wheels. Must be skilled at trach care and feeding tubes. You are welcome to park in the driveway. There are no pets in the house.
