My father is a kind and joyful person to spend time with. In 2012, he had a stroke that affected him both mentally and physically. Since then, my mother has been his primary caregiver, but she needs daytime support. My parents live on a plant farm where my father enjoys tending to his hobby plants each day. Several family members are on-site daily, but we are looking for someone to help ensure his safety and well-being. Your responsibilities would include assisting him at his desk by carrying and watering plants, preparing his lunch at the house, handling light household chores during the week, and driving him to doctor's appointments, helping him in and out of the vehicle and office as needed. Our current care giver is retiring later this year. He is happy to show you the routine we have established.
