We are looking for a compassionate and reliable senior care sitter with experience. The primary responsibilities include: - Monitoring to ensure our loved one does not pull out his IV lines or tracheostomy tubing Providing companionship and emotional support during his stay at the skilled nursing facility - Assisting with non-medical needs, such as offering a bedpan upon request Nursing staff will handle medical care and housekeeping (e. g. changing sheets). The focus of this role is to offer attentive companionship and oversight, giving his wife much-needed respite. Hours flexible - sometimes need daytime hours as well as overnight hours.
