My father is a former doctor and community leader. He is easy going, likes to walk and socialize, and shares the most interesting stories from his life. But his executive functioning is suffering. He cannot drive, does not have the skills to make his own sandwich, and needs someone to watch him when walking down stairs or getting in and out of the car. My mom needs a companion for him while she gets outside of the house to visit friends. Both are loving and trustworthy, and very grateful to people when they help. We would prefer someone who has elder care experience, has their own car, and is adaptable to specific tasks (like grocery shopping, helping him with his text messages or phone calls, going for a walk with my dad, etc.). Thank you!
