About the job

About who needs care: My friend has had multiple surgeries on her back, replacements for shoulders and knees. At present has two herniated discs at L1 and L2 and in a lot of pain; now having paid on oppposite side and hip pain and having great difficulty walking and moving. Unable to complete her ADLs. Lives alone Sleeps till about 10:00 a.m. in her reclinder unable to get in her bed. stays up late. Normally she is fairly active, drives, has two cats, enjoys TV and other sitting activities. About the care needs: My friend is very outgoing, friendly, funny and we were roommates in college (1966-1968) She enjoys company. Caregiver would need to like cats, work and visit at the same time, be patient -she has always been very independent so doesn't like to ask for help. She was a music major in college and a majorette She loves watching QVC and the other home network shows. Loves to talk. Has limited family support Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
