Hello! We are looking for in home care for my dad (I'm performing this search for my mother) who suffers from Alzheimer's. He will be turning 70 in August. He is in the later stages of Alzheimer's. Hospice comes twice a week to bath/groom him, but he does need medications, help with feeding and dressing, light walks daily. He's sweet and pretty mellow most of the time. Loves to listen to worship music and flip through pictures. He's 6ft, and I don't know his weight, but he wears an XL, sometimes XXL. Falls occasionally out of bed, and does need guidance/help getting back up. I find if you give him space, time, and patience, he can do more than we give him credit for. But this will definitely be hands-on, and the expectation is that care shows up on their scheduled days. This will be split between two caregivers.
