About the job

About who needs care: Disabled vet recovering from severe spinal cord injury. Needs help with bathing, mobility and bowel program. He is regaining movement and can mostly transfer himself from bed to electric wheelchair. About the care needs: Calm demeanor preferable. He is very friendly but is a Vietnam vet who suffers from PTS. He is very sharp and mentally with it. Need someone willing to work with the bowel program which is every 3rd day inducing a movement via a specialized mini enema. He is also currently using a condom catheter but may be moving to the 'Pure Wick' style which is much more likely to stay in place. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance. Looking for up to 14 hours per week.
