About the job

About who needs care: My father will be 84 years old in July. He's a smoker who recently was put on oxygen. Fell a month ago and hasn't been able to move much since then. Also doesn't have a walk in shower which is making it hard to shower since he can't lift his leg to get into the tub so definitely needs assistance. Very cranky old man sometimes but most time just wants to talk about sports and news. About the care needs: Somebody that is patient and gentle when giving care. Somebody that isn't going to be in a hurry to leave my dad, making sure he has everything he needs done before leaving and that he is good and also someone that communicates openly to both of his daughters about what they feel is the best needs for my dad at any time. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
